There are few things that result from capitalism and democracy that
are well designed or serve any useful purpose compared to what is
possible. However, those rare exceptions provide an oasis of joy
in a world that otherwise tends towards
inferiority and complacency.
It is here that I wish to praise those who have decided against
the easy way out and instead have gone on the faith that good ideas
and inspiration really matter. It is important to make it known
that there are people who appreciate thoughtful decisions so I
wish to mention a few things that make this world more enjoyable,
though in this society they are always only exceptions.
