Idiot or Liar?

First they say "this change will be inconsequential", to which a saner person would point out there is no purpose in making a radical structural change in order to achieve the inconsequential.

Then when the experiment has mutated out of control far beyond the original worst case objections, the leadership slogan becomes "change is inevitable", and it is only inevitable because they have made it so.

Shortly thereafter, they say "you'd better accept change because it's coming."

Thus consent is required after mistakes are made, with no consideration for taking action to reduce or reverse their effects.

Democracy is transparent about trivial daily actions (votes, bills, speeches) but evasively silent about intent, theory, assessments, plans, and goals that constitute the substance of its activity.
