One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star. -Nietzsche |

Something Beautiful Establish the tone, a focused tube distortion interspersed with harmonics, squeals, screams, and a surging, erupting wah. Neither candy nor fuzzblast, but an honest crispness -- direct and resolute. The music is tight, wasting no space with fluff, sensibly structured yet not simplistically patterned, suggesting a direction but subtle in its journey. It has something important and fresh to say. It breathes, using silence to separate the building blocks of its paced phrasing, never lazily stringing together an overstretched spew of noised junk delivered with jackhammer monotony. Bass and drums fuse into Siamese twin engines propelling the unstoppable galactic craft. Bass indicates the boundaries and key points of the melodic range while connecting segments and pushing the flow onward; drums working the undeniable pulse. All truth is in art. Be skeptical of anyone who doesn't prefer what is best, even in mainstream choices like food, pop music, and film. If she doesn't sing, dance, or play an instrument, cut her off. Lost souls flutter and waver at the edges, unable to plunge into essentiality and love eternity. Life is too short to tolerate the inartistic.
