Traffic

Soon we'll all be dead forever. Meanwhile, we wait in traffic staring at the cars ahead of us, all slowly dying together.

Most of the people in this mess elected the current leaders. The rest voted for others whose leadership would have yielded the same results. Are the leaders unaware of traffic and other issues? Or merely unable to help? Or unconcerned?

A longer look at democracy shows this isn't new or unexpected. Elections are won by popularity, not effective ideas or truth. Most prefer wonderful fantasies to truth. These fantasies are temporarily sustained by deficit spending and the eternal promise that good and sustainable results are coming soon, only for the meantime more debt and the outlawing of superior alternatives is necessary.

We must also forget better results that have been achieved in the past and turn a blind eye to those achieved presently in other nations.

First lies and promises, then fraud to maintain the appearance of those lies, then the represented and the next few generations must face debt enslavement for the crimes of others.

If there are such things as demons, they are the political class.
