One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star. -Nietzsche |

Purpose of the Machine
With its primary purpose being subterfuge, its immune system attacks anything that exposes it, calling it terrible names, restricting its freedom and proposing fraud in its place. It attempts to tie up the agents of truth and nature with nonsense, falsity, and new destructive enterprises needing to be disarmed and cleaned up as a prolonged filibuster to prevent increasing the area of sanity. It produces a social currency in the form of blame, offering a vision of the individual as pure and blameless, an innocent angelic victim of brutally oppressive forces, an enduring hero who would be someone great if only not conspired against by witches, warlocks, monsters, and other imaginary demons obsessed with keeping him down. In this fictional world, faults do not originate from the individual who oppresses himself, and problems are never caused by the larger mob conspiring against themselves.
