Educated about Nothing

Even well educated people from the best universities rarely seek or possess knowledge about anything more than commercials, sport teams, sitcoms, movies, video games, and celebrities. As they are unfamiliar with any of the greatest works of civilization and appear to have no interest in the creations of peak culture, neither should they have a vote or public voice on the direction of society, as they would happily squander all human potential consuming idiot entertainment while discarding our best wisdom in favor of repeating memes they hear from television personalities.

When we see that people choose ignorance and make no effort to contact easily accessible excellence, we can appropriately ascertain what weight to assign to their opinions, and understand why their lives are perpetual struggle.
